Expired The Entrepreneurial Impact International Summer School (EIISS) at the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (sce) from 21 September to 2 October 2009, Germany

Post by Admin Thu 26 Feb 2009, 23:56

The SCE is part of 4entrepreneurship, a joint initiative of the four Entrepreneurship Centers of the Munich Universities (HM, LMU, TU, UniBW). This summer 4entrepreneurship organizes a summer school to cover economic and social issues of the future by targeting projects that foster societal change and can earn, save or cost a billion Euro or more.

International teams of students from various disciplines will meet in Munich for two weeks of course and group work from September 21st – October 2nd 2009. The teams will be expected to give formal presentations to a distinguished panel of investors, entrepreneurs and educators, culminating in a public presentation and evening celebration on October 2nd 2009.

The offer
Four4Entrepreneurship will offer the Entrepreneurial Impact International Summer School: Billion Euro Projects to Foster Societal Change (a big name for a big project!). The EIISS will encourage entrepreneurial thinking in order to provide innovative solutions to worldwide social problems. As the name suggests, the projects must provide participants with an idea so far-reaching that the impact on society would be significant enough to entice at least a billion Euro in investments or can earn or save at least a billion Euro while fostering societal change. Examples of possible projects range from wind energy systems for private homes, to a fresh look at the benefits of the blimp (Zeppelin) on our environment, to revamping the primary school system in Germany, or even the next Google.
