The theme of the fourteenth Maastricht Medical Students Research Conference is `The Curious Case’: Consciousness and Neuroscience.

There is a lot of mystery surrounding the human brain. Not only is there much to be discovered about the mechanisms behind the brainfunctions, there are also still many questions unanswered about the conscious mind and its interaction with the environment.

On the 28th of April, we will be providing workshops and lectures that are related to this theme. The day will also consist of poster and oral presentations by (bio)medical students. They will be presenting their own scientific research. The subject of their research does not have to be related to the theme of the MMSRC.
