DEADLINE 1st June - Tallinn Summer School 2011, July 11 - 29
Internationalisation is the main focus of the development strategy at Tallinn University. We are creating an international centre for academic and scientific research in Tallinn, and establishing an international summer school is an important part of this strategy.
Tallinn Summer School not only aims to offer opportunities for top faculty members from various disciplines, but by far the most important aspect is to bring together a diverse array of students from all over the world to stimulate and encourage innovative discussion and debate. In 2010, forty-six separate countries were represented.
Courses last from one to three weeks. In 2011, the first courses will start on the 11th of July and all courses will end together on the 29th of July. All programmes are accredited, and participants can include the credits earned in their own degree programme. The language of instruction is English.
At the conclusion of your studies, we also offer you the chance to join one of our trips. In 2011, students will have an opportunity to join a trip to St. Petersburg with the option of continuing to Moscow and on to Lake Baikal on the Trans-Siberian Express. Tallinn Summer School also has a tradition of organising trips to European Capitals of Culture.
