Vienna, 13 - 22 July 2011

The international Summer School in Vienna is offering an intensive program for motivated medical students in oncology.

The aims are to help students to become familiar with cancer care in general health practice to reduce fear for patients with a malignant disease and to learn more about cancer related problems in other countrys.

The program will include lectures, discussions and case presentations. Participants are requested to present a poster on an oncologic topic related to their home countries. Last but not least a social program will be organized.

Time period: 13.7.-22.7.2011

Course language: English

Registration fee: 200 Euro - includes scientific program, working book, social program, meals & snacks during class (accomodation excluded)

Eligibility: Students must have completed 2 years of Medical School. We encourage applications from students of diverse backgrounds to create an pleasant cross-cultural exchange.
