Youth in a changing society
With more than 2 billion people under the age of 18, the world's population is young. We know that young people have enthusiasm, imagination and energy to undertake regional actions, act as effective communicators in their communities and be involved at the European level. This insight comes from the AER member regions: when encouraged to act, young Europeans are thoughtful citizens capable of participating in and changing the society to which they belong.
