The "Media in Conflicts Seminar" (MICS) is an academic and professional journalist seminar taking place in Israel. MICS exposes future media leaders to the fascinating world of conflict-journalism. During the seminar the participants will develop skills to deal with the challenges of media in conflicts, create a priceless professional network and experience the world's most covered conflict zone.

The 5-day seminar will include:
- Lectures by experts in the field of conflict journalism
- Strategic tours around Israel and the conflict areas
- Hands-on workshops
- A 5-day fully subsidized stay in Israel (Not including airfare)

The conference will be held in English at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya (10 Minutes from Tel Aviv) during the week of September 4th-8th, 2011.

Schedule
This year, for the first time, the participants of MICS 2011 will be granted the privilege of taking part in the renowned annual ICT Seminar, one of the most important events in the world in the field of research of Terrorism and Counter Terrorism, taking place at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya.
