ISCTE Business Summer School

ISCTE Business School offers three programmes in July:
- Programme 1 - Leadership and Strategic Knowledge
- Programme 2 - International Financial Management (advanced)
- Programme 3 - Marketing Communications and Branding

Dates
All programmes run from MON, 4th to WED, 27th July, 2011.
Arrival to Lisbon should be on 3rd of July 2011 and
Departure on the 28th of July 2011

Hours
Each programme consists of a total of 70 hours, including contact hours and field trips.

ECTS Credits
6 credits can be awarded for the successful participation in each programme.

Timetable
Classes will take place 4 days a week, from 9:30 to 12:30 and from 13:30 to 16:20.

Welcome Programme
A two day welcome programme (4th and 5th of July) will take place before lectures start, to familiarise students with their surroundings and also for the students to get to know the staff and each other.

Leisure Activities
Leisure activities, such as going to the beach, visits to Lisbon’s most famous places like the São Jorge Castle or the Oceanarium, will be organized after classes. Lisbon also offers a great night life and a large variety of cultural and sports events (e.g. watching a football game in the famous Stadium of Light).

Individual trips
During the weekends the students have the possibility to make trips to some of the outstanding sights around Portugal, including the city of Porto in the north, the beaches of the Algarve in the South and the countryside of Alentejo. The Summer School team offers assistance in organizing individual excursions and advises about the best places to visit.

Application Deadline
Applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-served base. Early applications are advised as there is a limited number of places available for each programme.

Cost
We offer different pricing options:
Students can opt for a complete package that includes lodging or a package without lodging. In the latter case, students organize the lodging by themselves.
