The Social Entrepreneurial Competition is an effort to further augment the overall ILS learning experience, and is meant to give you the chance to exercise your creativity to make a positive impact in the world around you.

It's a competition all about new ideas; ideas that one day might be a part of the world, ideas that may bring about a profound improvement in our day to day lives, and of course ideas that may even lead to a profitable business in the future. Now the important part here is that an idea is not simply a statement, to make an idea implementable it needs to be elaborated and thoroughly justified. This is where your ingenuity plays its role and the judges throughout the competition will be looking for this element, this mainly shall be the distinctive criteria for the best idea.

You will determine an issue to promote and present it to an audience and a panel of judges to whom you wish to sell the ideaΣ. But how well will you be able to market it? What makes your idea different & unique from the others? With a creative proposal and the right communication & advertising, your idea can prove to be a life changing opportunity for any individual. For the purposes of the campaign, you will advertise an important issue; keep in mind it's about social change! Your ideas may range from simple awareness campaigns to businesses with products that end up resolving the issues you began with. Whatever the proposal, it must have a positive impact on your issue.
