Disney International Programs - A world of opportunity

Program Overview
Imagine the excitement of working, learning and living at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, Florida, USA! Participants in the Disney International Programs experience the magic of Disney while interacting with Guests, learning important business philosophies and making friends from all over the world.

At the Walt Disney World Resort, we have three distinct programs for which international candidates may be eligible: the Cultural Representative Program, the International College Program and the Australia/New Zealand Work Experience.

Cultural Representatives share their culture and customs with our Guests while representing one of the countries or regions we have recreated in look and feel at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Participants in our International College Programs are immersed into a work-integrated learning program at the Walt Disney World Resort, and must be enrolled in an accredited university or a recent university graduate.

The Australia/New Zealand Work Experience offers Australia and New Zealand citizens 18 years old and older the opportunity to work in operational roles at the Walt Disney World Resort.

The International College Program
Participants of the Disney International College Program at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL, U.S.A. have the unique opportunity to develop real-world experience while working in front line roles at our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels. Additionally, they have the chance to meet Guests and other participants from around the world and take part in a life-changing opportunity that they just can't get anywhere else.

The Disney International College Programs is made up of two unique opportunities: the Summer Work Experience, and the Australia/New Zealand Work Experience. In addition, Disney hosts the Academic Exchange Experience. Participants in these experiences may have the opportunity to:

- Learn important business philosophies from Disney leaders

- Make friends from around the world while living in a comfortable community
- Take advantage of exclusive Cast Offerings, Events and Activities

Although participants may not be pursuing a career in the hospitality or entertainment industries, they will have the opportunity to learn skills that will be valuable to them in their future endeavors. In their roles, Disney International Programs participants develop transferable skills including Guest service, effective communication, teamwork, leadership, and responsibility.

The Cultural Representative Program
One of the greatest benefits of the Disney International Programs is the experience gained while working as a Cultural Representative. This is an opportunity to work and learn from one of the world's leading entertainment and hospitality companies!

In the Cultural Representative Program, participants share their culture and customs with our Guests who visit from all over the world. To qualify for this program, participants must authentically represent one of the countries or regions we have recreated in look and feel at the Walt Disney World® Resort.

Participants in this program will work in Food and Beverage, Attractions, Kidcot or Merchandise at one of the themed pavilions at Epcot® World Showcase; in Guest Relations at one of our four theme parks or the Downtown Disney® Area; or at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park or Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.

In this role, participants will have the opportunity to share the unique culture and customs of their country with Guests, while handling the specific position's traditional responsibilities. The Cultural Representative Program is a 12-month experience, although program length may vary with the country/position offered.

The Australia/New Zealand Work Experience
The Australia/New Zealand Work Experience gives international students the opportunity to travel to the U.S. and spend a year experiencing the Disney magic by sharing and interacting with Guests, learning important business philosophies and making friends with people from all over the world.
