European Summer School

This very popular study option has been operating for 10 years. Courses are available in the academic areas of Engineering, Computing and Business.

Engineering summer courses (with the exception of Sound Broadcast Engineering) are based on the popular British qualification, Higher National Certificate (HNC). This qualification will be awarded after successful completion of just two study periods at Glyndwr University (July 2009 and July 2010).

Alternatively all students may chose to study for just one study period and after successful completion leave with a 'Certificate of Continuing Education' from Glyndwr University.

The 'Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technologies', 'Applied Computing' and 'Business Studies' courses are all 'Certificates of Continuing Education' and therefore require only 1 study period for completion.

Whatever the period of study, the study credits or qualifications obtained can often be put towards Glyndŵr University qualifications should you wish to return to Wrexham to study for a University of Wales degree. This is a very popular option.

Inclusive English language tuition is offered alongside all study courses.

Cost (EU Nationals only)
The total cost of the package is £450 which includes accommodation, technical study and English language tuition. Airport pick-up and drop-off is also included subject to availability.
