General Information
Aim of the international Munich Summer School of Applied Sciences is to offer you a highly interesting study program in automotive engineering, business and management. You will be prepared for challenging tasks in technical development and management departments.
You get to know Germans and German culture by meeting local students, the teaching and support staff as well as through participating in the social program and the field trips. Eventually, all participants will be accepted into the university’s Alumni network.
Subject Courses
As the automotive industry is searching for more efficient modes and materials, the summer school offers credit courses in Automotive Mechatronics, Thermodynamics and in Design of Lightweight Structures. In order to give future engineers the opportunity to learn more about entrepreneurship and management as well, they can take a course in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and International Management. Cross-Cultural Communication
Engineers and managers – even in small and middle-sized companies – increasingly deal with international partners and clients. During the international Munich Summer School of Applied Sciences you study and work together on projects. This prepares you to work in multinational teams in your future career. Apart from such experiential learning Hochschule München believes that a more structured approach to learning about intercultural communication is in order. This is why all students – including the German participants – will attend a course on cross-cultural communication (2 ECTS or 1, 5 US-Credits).
