20th European Student Conference of IPPNW - Oslo 2010

"The Organizing Committee would like to invite you to the next European Student Conference of IPPNW (International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War) in Oslo, from 8th to 11th of April of 2010.

The title of the conference is "Nuclear Weapons - Abolition Now". During this conference, you can get more knowledge about the nuclear threat and take part in debates about how can we prevent what for IPPNW cannot be cured. Most of all, this conference can be an opportunity for you to share and improve your opinion with other medical students around Europe concerning armed conflicts.

International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW) is a non-partisan, global federation of national medical organizations in more than 60 countries dedicated to research, education, and advocacy relevant to the prevention of nuclear war. To this end, IPPNW seeks to prevent all wars, to promote non-violent conflict resolution, and to minimize the effects of war and preparations for war on health, development, and the environment. In 1985 IPPNW won the Nobel Peace Prize.
