Cheap accommodation - University Camp, Chalkidiki, Greece

The university camp of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki was founded in 1960 and is located at Chalkidiki (Kalandra – Possidi), close to the city of Thessaloniki. It is probably the only university camp that hosts every summer hundreds of students and university staff of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Camping facilities include restaurant, beach bar, mini market, newly refurbished WC, football and basketball courts, and free wireless internet access.

For the first time this year, students from foreign countries universities are given the opportunity to be hosted at the camp from the 25th of July to the 25th of August. All students need to carry with them the appropriate camping accessories (tent, sleeping bag, personal hygiene items, and torch).

The cost of stay is 12 € per day per person and includes sleeping in a tent and 3 meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). The length of stay for each student is 10 days. Every student is allowed to be accompanied by 1 guest.
