Internship-Indonesia aims for paid internships. For the legal issues, money offered by the hosting organisation is referred to as "living expenses fee" or "pocket money" and shall never be called salary, participants are part-time interns, not employees of the hosting organisation - as understood by the Indonesia law.

The procedure
You should submit your application at least 4 weeks prior to your intended starting date

We help interns by answering questions about the internship and traveling (e.g. applying for visas, vaccinations, flights and accommodation), helping deal with culture shock and arranging orientations at the locations. However, Internship-Indonesia is not a travel agency and interns are responsible for making their own travel arrangements, which is all a part of the interning abroad experience.

To apply you have to be:
- 18 or more (no upper age limitations - your attitude and personality matters more than your age)
- Fluent in English
- In possesion of a valid passport and be eligible to travel to Indonesia
- Fulfill the demands of the particular internship offer

FEES
Currenty our maching fees are set as low as:
- Applicants from the European Union member countries: 450 EURO
- Applicants from the USA and Canada: 620 USD
- Applicants from the rest of the world: 700 USD

We now offer 30% discount for applicants from Poland!

Price covers the matching and recruitment process, assistance with visa and legal matters, Indonesian sim-card, airport pick-up arrangements and on-site assistance.

Accommodation is usually provided by the hosting organisation free of charge. If not, the usual price of renting a room in good conditions in Indonesia varies between 150.000-350.000IDR/month (15-35USD).

The living expenses fee proposed by Indonesian hosting organisations is usually between 2.500.000 IDR and 3.500.000 IDR (around 250-350 USD)/month.
