Summer Schools on Business, Economis & Management, Berlin, Germany

The Berlin International Summer School offers three courses in 2009:

-Markets and Management in Europe (M+M) June 28 to July 18
-European Business and Economics Programme(EBEP) June 21 – July 18, 2009
-The European Union in a Global World June 21 – July 18, 2009

All courses include academic support programmes that in general consist in visits to companies and (political) institutions, and in presentations by experts. The support programme is closely linked to the individual modules of each course, thus enhancing the value of the academic course by offering a practical approach.

Each module will end with an assessment, enabling students to earn credits towards their degree. Upon successful completion of all course requirements, students will receive a certificate. UB students can earn 3 credits towards their degree under Independent Study Course.

Language of Instruction: English, proof of English proficiency (e.g. TOEFL 550/213/80 or equivalent) is required.

Target Group: Advanced undergraduate business and economic majors or graduates with good standing.

Class size: 20–25 participants

German Language & Culture: All business/economics courses include German language and culture lessons at introductory level.
