Student exchange for current UWA students (outbound)

The Student Exchange Program offers current UWA students the opportunity to study overseas at renowned universities for one or two semesters and gain credit towards your UWA degree.

The program is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, including international students. Students remain enrolled at UWA and continue to pay their tuition fees at UWA, but pay no tuition fees at the host university. With careful planning, you should be able to make normal progress towards the completion of your UWA degree in the recommended number of years.

Who is eligible
All undergraduate and postgraduate students, including international students, are eligible to apply for a student exchange program, providing they have:
* completed at least one year of study (48 points) towards a degree at UWA
* a sound academic record - normally an overall weighted average of 65 per cent with no fail grades. A fail grade may be overlooked if there are extenuating circumstances

Student Exchange and Study Abroad (inbound)

If you're an international student who would like to come and study at UWA for up to 12 months, we've got some great ways for you to broaden your horizons - literally!

Through our Student Exchange and Study Abroad programs you can:
* study at UWA for up to two semesters
* start studies in February or July
* take undergraduate or postgraduate courses
* obtain credit for study at UWA towards your home university degree

This is an opportunity for you to be stimulated by different academic challenges, develop self-awareness, discover a new culture, make new friends and travel to parts of Australia you have only dreamed about!
