VIA Summer School 2011

VIA Summer School is a great opportunity for all students to experience a new country during summer time while learning and having fun.

You can attend courses relevant for your career and at the same time enjoy summer holidays with excursions, parties and sports. VIASummer School is international and you will meet and work with people from many different countries.

The courses are mainly on Bachelor level but in some cases it can be also relevant to Masters students too - it depends on your home institution and study programme. Ask us if you have any doubts.

All courses are being evaluated based on passed/failed scale. Attendance is compulsory to pass the course. In order to finish a course with a grade you will have to attend an examination. Based on examination result, the appropriate grade will be given.

5 ECTS points will be awarded on completion of a course.

- ENGLISH & INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION
Learn to write a good report and communicate effectively
This course will help you to organize and structure your reports, develop skills in giving an oral presentation and understand some of the intercultural aspects in communication. Elementary grammar exercises will be introduced as required. Furthermore, different study techniques will be introduced to develop the study skills required to study at a higher education programme.

Cost: None – books can be borrowed in the library
EU students: No tuition fee.
Other students: DKK 5,000
Prerequisites: None
Schedule: 2 weeks.
July 18th to July 29th, 2011 or August 1st to August 12th, 2011
